Art prints and limited editions

Soluzioni Arte was founded with the aim of meeting the principal needs of artists. The advanced equipment used to process the original and the museum-quality certifications, obtained with Hahnemühle and Canson, mean we can reproduce the work with exceptional levels of quality and chromatic correspondence.

Reproduction of the artwork

Pigment printing is particularly suitable for the highest quality editions of works, including non-photographic items. The major advantage in comparison to classic lithography methods is that part of the print run can be produced without incurring extra cost. The high level of reproducibility in this printing method allows an identical result to be achieved even years later. One crucially important aspect of the entire process is the acquisition of the original. We use a flatbed scanner for small formats, but for A3+ and larger we use a 100 Mpixel digital camera, so we can get a very high resolution and detailed file. Works digitalised in this way are easy to archive. The best papers for art edition prints are Canson and Hahnemühle 100% cotton, which are certified to museum quality for up to 100 years. We can also supply handcraft boxes and folders.

Hahnemühle limited edition certification

In order to meet the artist’s need to declare the number of copies produced, on request we can issue a certificate of authenticity and edition on Hahnemühle parchment paper. This is effectively a joint statement, in which we declare the paper used and the museum quality of the print, while the artist declares the series number and the number of copies printed (where necessary the content of the document can be changed to meet the artist’s requirements). A hologram with a matching serial number is placed on the certificate and on the back of the artwork to certify its authenticity.
